I love baseball…
I have never experienced this sort of tie to anything but it is truly an amazing thing. And if it is what represents America as America’s pastime…then more people should play ball.
The sense of community and care and so forth is unbelievable. I think it represents the simple and pure moments of what used to exist here in America.
Helping others.
Courtesy.
Respect.
Laughter.
Happiness.
Dedication.
Innocence.
Family.
Simplicity.
Love thy neighbor.
Longing.
Manners.
Ethics.
This is a sad but good story on how a community, in this case, a team can come together to help a family that in a mere moment, became alone without a father.
